Export house visit (cotton harbour, Gurgaon) was organized for FD and AM Aug. Batches students got to know about the knits garment production from sampling to finished garment.

Retails and Interior Designing students visit to great Indian mall, centre stage mall where they got the knowledge of visual display landscaping.

A guest lecture was organized for FD and AM students. Mr. Sharad Pandey,Senior Designer form Gurgaon Gave his views on carrier option in designing and marketing skills for designer.

iiftgroup.com organizing the ANNUAL FASHION SHOW – ECLECTICA’08 on the occasion of iiftgroup.com 18th Anniversary on 10th May. 08   the fashion show is held at Tivoli Garden, Mehrauli, New Delhi.. The show was choreographed by Anup Banerjee with renowned ramp model like Shabnam, Krishna Somani, Varsha, Jyoti, Shruti, ShalluJain, Meghna, Barkha, Anusha, Diya, Archana, Esther, Sahiba, Carol Jogender, Bhoop, Aditya, Rajat walked the ramp. Yuri ---- of Jodha Akbar Fame was compared of the fashion show. The show was followed by Annual Award Function.

The STAR ROXX TALENT HUNT 08 was organized by iiftgroup.com at Airforce Auditorium (Dhaula Kuan) where students participated in various contest like Solo/Group/Couple Dance. The highlight of the day was Ms. & Mr. iiftgroup.com, Ms. & Mr. Face of Delhi. The judges were – Mr. Ratnadeep Lal (Founder & Chairman iiftgroup.com Group) ,Ms. Charu Lal , Ms. India Earth Tanvi Vyas ,Ms. Bharti Taneja & Mr. Anup Banerjee. The show was followed by Talent Hunt 08 Function.

Teacher’s day cum Fresher’s party was organized at Golden Fiesta-East of Kailash where students and faculties celebrated teacher’s day and Fresher’s party on 5th Sept. 08.
Guest lecture was taken by Mr. Nitin Rao on documentation and attending buyer.
In the month of September all fashion designing students visited jewel’s exhibition at HOTEL ASHOK.

ON 4TH OF OCT. ORIENTATION SEMINAR was held at INDIA INTERNATIONAL CENTER. For all apparel merchandising students’ guest lecture was organized on denim by Mr. Parvez. All the fashion designing and apparel merchandising students visited Delhi fashion week at the grand, wills India fashion week at PRAGATI MADIAN, INDIA WEAVE EXPO AT DELHI HATT, JEWELS MOMTC AT HOTEL ASHOKA, DIAMOND JEWELLERY AT METRO POLITAN MALL (SAKET). All the apparel merchandising and fashion designing students went to market survey at DELHI HATT SOUTH EX .ANSAL, LAJPAT NAGAR AND ALL DELHI NCR MALL.
